I am:

I specialise in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT also, known as Tapping), Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Mindfulness and Reiki.  I chose this way to work because it is very gentle for the client and we often achieve rapid results for issues or beliefs that have been damaging for a long time.

I am a former teacher and have 20 years’ experience of pastoral work in educational settings.  I know first-hand that to get successful resolution it is not enough to deal with the symptoms of an issue we must get to the root causation.  At the same time, I have no wish to open a Pandora’s box of anxieties without giving my clients the tools to deal with them.

I want you to achieve your goals and I want you to succeed in the most effective way.  We can do this by establishing a relationship based on respect and trust.  You can trust me to be up front and honest with you about the size of the task and the likely number of sessions required, if more than one is needed.  If you are looking at this site, the chances are you want to change something which isn’t serving you, I ask you to bring this commitment to change and an open mind to our sessions.  A sense of humour helps too!

I’m fascinated by the human mind and the way that in trying to protect us it can at times, sabotage our very happiness.  It is often fairly ‘easy’ to resolve our issues but, it can be painful to let them go even if we know that they don’t serve us.  The answers are already there in your subconscious mind, we just have to find them and address them.

My own experience of the impact that emotional baggage can have has been in relation to a four-year bout of insomnia and, chronic pain as a result of having 5 broken discs in my neck and back.  The resolution of my own problems has been the catalyst for retraining and using these techniques to help others.

I am not a fixer upper, I don’t see the point in papering over the cracks.  There’s no doubt that I can help you to lose weight but, if we don’t get to the bottom of why you overeat, for example, your weight will simply yo-yo whenever you are feeling low.  If you have a problem in the foundations of your house you don’t start working on the roof; the issues we deal with are the same.  If we address the root problem the symptom will disappear.  It makes sense when you think about it.  Insomnia, low self-esteem, fear, phobia, guilt, self-sabotage etc. are all symptoms of deeper problems.  Find the roots, deal with them and you can solve the problem once and for all.

Whatever you decide, and if you are ready I hope that now is the time that you choose to ‘Let Go Be Happy’.
